How Your Quote
Is Built
Every quote is itemized. You see exactly what you are paying for — no lump sum "project cost" with no breakdown. Here are the five factors that determine your price.
Square Footage
~30% of quoteThe total paintable area is the base of every quote. Walls, ceilings, trim, and exterior surfaces are measured separately.
Prep Complexity
~35% of quoteThis is the most variable factor. Heavy stucco repair, significant patching, or multiple layers of old paint require more time and cost more.
Number of Coats
~15% of quoteStandard is two coats. A dramatic color change (dark to white) or very old porous surfaces may require three coats.
Paint Quality
~10% of quoteWe always use Sherwin Williams or Dunn Edwards. The material cost difference between their lines is built into the quote.
Scope Details
~10% of quoteNumber of doors, trim length, cabinet doors, specialty finishes, and difficult access areas all factor into the final number.
